At Coastal Roots Landscape & Design we can build anything from a walkway to a complete yard renovation and everything in between. Below you will find descriptions and galleries of our most popular construction projects. We also install seed and sod lawns, fences, landscape lighting and irrigation systems.

Driveways

Driveways can be bordered in landscape timers or cobblestone. The materials we use to fill the driveways consist of, pea stone, crushed stone or sea shells. We can also add a cobblestone apron to the end of the driveway and/or incorporate walkways into the driveway design.

Fire pits

There is nothing more comforting then the smell of a fire. We can build a professional fire pit that is freestanding or integrated in your other landscape features, such as a patio. Fire pits can be installed using artificial or natural stones.

Patios are perfect for entertaining and for all your outdoor furniture. Patios can be installed in many shapes using several different types of materials. A few of our favorite materials include: bricks, bluestone, and patio pavers. These materials can be laid in multiple patterns and can even have an accent color border stone and/or be outlined in cobblestone.

Planting Beds

Whether it is redefining an existing bed, adding to an existing bed or designing and installing completely new planting beds, we work with your existing landscape to create a consistent flow. We then can add plantings based on the customers preferences and where they will be located. Our landscape design program can even create renditions of what your yard will look like with your new design.

Walkways & Steps

Walkways are most commonly installed to access the front door of your home, but they can also be added to side doors or connect different aspects of your landscape. Multiple materials can be used,such as bricks, bluestone and patio pavers. Like patios, walkways can have an accent stone as a border and/or a cobblestone or landscape timber border.

Steps are a great way to make your yard more accessible. They can be built into a hillside or we can add them into a wall or walkway design. Steps can be built of landscape timbers, natural stone, wall stone or veneer stone. Landscape timbers can also have bricks or patio pavers as their treads.

Walls

Walls are practical and we build them to be aesthetically pleasing. Landscaping timbers, concrete wall stone, natural stones or veneer stone can be used to build a wall. Walls can also have steps or landscape beds built in to add accessibility and design.
